JEAN’S BEAN BURGER
Ingredients | |
9 sweet potatoes | 6 mixed peppers – finely diced |
2 white onions – chopped | ??? Cous cous to bind |
3 tins mixed beans, rinsed and ½ mashed | bread crumbs and egg to panne |
Seasonings | |
1 teaspoon Ras el hanout | 1 teaspoon garlic powder |
1 teaspoon onion powder | 1 teaspoon chilli flakes |
1 teaspoon salt | 1 teaspoon white pepper |
Method
* Cook sweet potatoes in their skins until soft then scoop out the insides
* cook off pepper and onion
* combine with beans, cous cous and seasoning
* divide into 160g portions and press
* freeze
* panne while frozen To serve
Cook burger ……… melt a cheese slice on top
Toast bun1 cup of chips
2 onion rings
lettuce, tomato, onion and gherkins garnish.
